On Cutting Time Taxes

Your email will go silent.
Your office chair will be empty.
Your career will have run its course.
Your role swallowed up in another org design.
Your cherished LinkedIn account coldly discontinued.
Work is important, but life is so much bigger.
After all, you’ve only got 4,000 weeks. On average. Max.
And not even that. You’ve likely used up at least half already.
So, you’ve got 2,000 weeks left. Max
And not even that. You’ll sleep yourself through at least a third.
Which leaves you with 1,300 weeks. Max.
And not even that. You still need to deduct illness, travel and other time taxes.
So now you’re down to 1,000 weeks. Max.
Just 1,000 weeks left. What are you going to do with them?
If you’re like most people, you’ll burn a lot by inventing time taxes of your own.
𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘀. 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀. 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀. 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗺𝘀 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁-𝗶𝗳𝘀?
None of which adds a minute to your life. Or an ounce to your happiness.
So why do we do it? Mostly, because it’s so normal. And we take normal for natural.
But it's not. And the best news is, there's an opt-out.
Imagine a future without those made-up time taxes.
Where you effectively add time to your life span.
And live your precious weeks to the brim.
What more could life be?
What more could you achieve?
How much happier could you be?
Now imagine no more. Because truth is, you’re not like everyone else.
You see the difference between normal and natural.
You value happiness over paying time tax.
You're open to making a change.
You're willing to take action.
With 1,000 weeks left, it’s time to ditch the time tax. It begins with a commitment, a gift to yourself. A better life awaits on the other side. And it can start today. 💪 😊
